Collections
Spider-Man:
I started collecting Spider-Man when I was about
5. My
brother originally started collecting him, and as I wanted to be
like him, I stared to collect too. It was when I was about 8
that I learned more about the back story and realized how
realistic Peter Parker's life was. It interested me more, and
even when my brother quit collecting, I went on.
My whole room
is full of Spider-Man stuff. I have some things
that are still in the package but most things I like to open up
and play with.
My favorite item is
probably my collection of 1994 Marvel action
figures from Toy Biz. I have not only Spider-Man but most of his
friends & foes too. My oldest mint in package collectible is a
carded code breaker from the early 80's. My coolest and probably
rarest item is either my 1970's newspaper box insert (see right)
or my Stan Lee signed animation cell from the 1990's
cartoon series.
Eventually
I will photograph my entire collection & post the photos
here on my web in the meantime check out the pics of
my room
HeroClix:
I just starting collecting HeroClix. Originally I was just going to buy
all the Spiderman figures but I then became interested in
playing. I am concentrating on just the Marvel characters for
now. I have about 70 of them far. I'll put pics on
then in my photo gallery over Spring Break.
Lego:
Well, technically, I didn't start collecting Lego. My parents would buy a lot of
sets, and when they were through with
them, they would dump them in a bin. Set after set, it grew and grew, until I
started really collecting them. I have some
boxed sets, like Harry Potter and
of course Spider-Man but mainly lots and lots of loose pieces. I
have some old legos from the 70's- Boxed gear set and an unboxed
Kitchen set.
