School
Sixth
Grade
Okay, my first year of middle school. Also was probably the
toughest year of school I ever had. But hey, isn't it middle school tough
on everyone? Anyway, my homeroom
teacher (also my GT science teacher) was Ms. D. Science was fun,
especially the Agriculture Lab. I also participated in the sixth
grade
GT science
fair.
I Came in second for the 3rd year in a row! . My other favorite teacher in 6th
grade was Mr.
S
(GT English). He made his class fun - lots of to activities.
He also helped
me with a problem I have with leaning in my chair. Sometimes he's was strict but he's probably my favorite teacher yet. My GT World Cultures teacher
is Mrs. A, she lives in a swamp. (According to Mr. S.) And she usually gets
buckets stuck on her head. But besides that, she's was a pretty nice
teacher. Mr. T was my GT math teacher. He's was always telling us stories.
He
sometimes bugged me because I didn't do all my notes for tests. I do some
though! Then there's GT Reading... Ms. S, who, because she was
pregnant, was replaced by Ms. J. who was replaced by Ms. Cuba. Who
doesn't come from Cuba, so don't ask. But she came back after a
while. And she was pretty fun. I also went to a couple
of Chess Club meetings but sometimes it was just me and 1 other kid
so I stopped going. We had two field trips, one which
was for people that sold a certain amount of items in a fundraiser.
We went to Skateland. I won a couple of things and had lots of fun.
And the other one was going to the Aquarium. School finally
ended- I'm so glad you only have to go through 6th grade once
Seventh Grade
Wow, what a difference a year makes. I had some really cool classes.
I'm was still in the GT program & I'm taking Algebra I. I
liked Science, (BTW did I mention I want to go to college and become
a geneticist? Anyway back to grade 7...) which Ms. E. teaches, we
did way more labs that year, and I to dissected a chicken leg.
English, taught by Mrs. A. is a lot more fun this year. We read
several books, including Animal Farm. Social Studies, is taught by
Mr. O. Who coincidently is a coach at my sisters school. Anyway, we work a lot on maps and do a few art projects. I
have GT Art now too, taught by Ms. OPH. And I also am learning Spanish I
which isn't as hard as I thought, Dona S. teaches the class, she was
my least favorite teacher that year. But in a way, I still respect
her.
Eighth Grade
Well, here it is, my last year ever of Middle School. A new year, new teachers. This
year, I have Senorita. R as a homeroom and Spanish teacher, she's
pretty cool; she's also the youngest teacher I've ever had, which
means she's 'hip', unlike the other teachers. And she's defienently
an improvement over Dona. S from last year. I also have
the strange Mr. E as my algebra two teacher he likes to pick on some
of his students. His brother, Mr. EČ teaches my U.S. History class.
Both Mr. E classes are fun and most of the time we just waste class
time by making fun of them. It's a pretty easy year. I'm also in the chess club. The odd Ms. S teaches
English. She's from another country, but she won't tell the class,
she has a crush on the school librarian, (or so we think.). We waste
alot of time in her class too. Ms. MG teaches science, we're learning about the
erosion and fossils. A lot of fun since we do even
MORE labs than last year. I'm passing my classes, and I'm hopefully gonna
make it through. Next year I'm heading to high school on a theatre
magnet.
